Safe Environment
All adult volunteers [18 years of age or older] must complete the requirements for Safe Environment before beginning or continuing their ministry. This policy is in effect for all adult volunteers in every parish in the United States.Currently, each volunteers must:
- sign the Pastoral Code of Conduct
- attend the program "Protecting God's Children"
- complete the database application for the Diocese
The parish will be audited every year to check on our compliance with the requirements.
