Every parish has two councils in place to advise the pastor or administrator.
The Pastoral Council is concerned with the spiritual welfare of the people and the
implementation of the Parish Mission Statement and the Parish Pastoral Plan.
The Finance Council is concerned with the financial aspect of parish life.
Parish Finance Council
The pastor or administrator is required by Church law to have members of the parish act as advisors to him regarding the fiscal organization of the parish. Acting as a consultative body to the pastor they work with him to review budget reports and prepare the budget plan for the coming year.
Names of individuals are recommended by Pastoral Council and Finance Council. Persons are appointed by the pastor or administrator for a five year term.
Current members of the Parish Finance Council are: Rebecca Boyde, Enrico Antonini, James Steppe, Frank Budiscak, Daniel Spratt and Joseph Trgovac.
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council of Holy Family Parish consists of eleven members who are selected and appointed by the pastor. This group represents the diversity of our parish. The Pastoral Council has formulated a Mission Statement and a Pastoral Plan. The council offers recommendations to the pastor on issues concerning the pastoral care of the members of our parish.
Names of individuals are recommended by Pastoral Council. Persons are appointed by the pastor for a three year term
Current members are John Ludwig, Gordon Taglieri, Rosemarie Shutey, Joseph Santangelo, Linda Runatz, Kathleen Jury, Joseph Helbling, Suzanne Griffith, Gabriel Engel and Suzanne Temple.
